Labrador Cookies

These cookies got their name from that scene in 101 Dalmatians where the dalmatian puppies roll around in the soot to disguise themselves as labradors and escape Cruella de Vil and the Baduns.  These are chocolate chip cookies with cocoa powder and white chocolate chips… they’re disguised chocolate chip cookies.  Get it?

Anyway, they were actually dubbed “Crack Cookies” by my college roommate because they’re that gosh darn good and addicting- but I felt like with that name I couldn’t give them to kids.

Enough with the build-up, here’s the recipe or download this nifty recipe card:

3.) Beat the eggs + sugars until fluffy
4.) Whisk flour + baking soda + salt + cocoa powder
5.) Add each egg to the butter until just combined
6.) Add vanilla to the egg mixture
7.) Add flour mixture in three batches
8.) Mix in all those chips!
9.) Spoon heaping teaspoonfuls onto parchmented baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes. Probably lean towards 8.
10.) Be fat and eat them all. Or share. Yum.
